A Private Pilot License (PPL) is the first step in flight training. A Private Pilot License allows you to fly in good weather conditions under Visual Flight Rules (VFR). Whether you’re an entrepreneur needing to get to a business meeting or wanting to whisk your family and friends away for a quick trip, you’ll need a Private Pilot License.

A Private Pilot License may be for you if:
• You’re looking to learn to fly as a new challenge and adventure.
• You seek the freedom to fly without risking canceled flights or long wait times at the airport.
• It was your dream that was deferred.

While earning your Private Pilot License, one of the first lessons will be learning the aviation order of operations: Aviate (fly the airplane), Navigate(where are you and where are you going), Communicate(talk to someone outside of the airplane, such as ATC).
